No, the groomer hasn't made a run up to Crystal yet. I have a 2-seater 550 Tundra and have made it to the top in previous years without any problems - but I don't know what the sled track is like right now.

I'm just a local recreational backcountry skier. In addition to backcountry skiing, there's lots of sled-skiing happening in the area. Crystal Ridge is a sled-skiing area developed and managed by VARDA - six gladed runs of about 2,000 vertical feet and a good access trail.
I just returned from a trip down south, and it appears that a camera is being installed directly across the highway from the Chappell Creek parking lot. There is a solar panel installed on one of the roadside posts that I don't remember noticing before.
We were up Clemina on Sunday May 6. Parked just past 7km when first hit snow. There is still one shady hill holding quite a bit of snow at around 8km, and gravel came and went until about 11km. If that shady hill melts out this week, I would think you'll be able to drive up to at least 11km...
