Let me know if this is not the place to post this. Is anyone going to be riding fernie this weekend or next week that wouldn’t mind a guy tagging along? Going for the week but all my usual crew can’t make it. Intermediate rider with AST1 and all the “tools”.
Bought bungee cords and put carabiners on the end. Had to recover a gas can or 2 that came off because the regular hooks managed to come off.

x2 on the 89xi. Have two pairs but like you said they don't make them anymore. Bought a pair of the Scott Hustle snow and haven't had any issues with fogging like my buddies with 509's.

Two guys in our group have them and can't wear goggles without them. I guess I've been lucky my Scott's don't fog on me but they both had problems with their 509s before the fans.

We rode there a few days last year. We staged at the canyon creek staging area north of Columbia Falls. Probably would have been better if there was snow but there's some decent areas to ride. Lunch at the chalet is definitely a perk.

Rode from canyon creek staging area today. Trail was smooth all the way today. Everything off the trail was a hard crust with 3 to 4 inches of fresh on top. Pretty much exactly what we expected.

Well here's hoping it starts dumping snow! Like I said, no real choice where we go so gonna give it a shot anyway. If it's really terrible we may have to hit the ski hill. [emoji15]

It's the wife's family ski trip, they decide where we go. We are not much for skiing so we bring our sleds. Go to fernie most years cuz her brother has a place there but they wanted to go somewhere different this year.

Thanks. Seems like the snow everywhere sucks, but the trip is booked so at least wanna get some riding in. Even a crappy day riding beats a good day at work.

I have the same question. Heading out there the first week of March. Staying at the ski hill and me and the brother in law are bringing our sleds. I have checked out the trail maps but would like some input on where to stage and ride. Not interested in big climbs, just hills and trees to play...
Me and a couple buddies did this a few years back. Guide was awesome. We were the only ones out with the guide both days and they tailor your ride to the skills of the group. Was definitely not a trail ride.

Pulled mine out of my 2010 last night. It has 1725 miles on it and everything is perfect in there. Think I am going to change the bearing out anyway since my brothers just blew a couple weeks ago and it's apart already. I have probably read every forum about the topic and it's about 50/50 on...
