I have an '04 1M EFI 900 159" so it's pretty similar... I was told it would handle like a tank but It was not actually that bad when I took it for my first ever trip mtn sledding. I think it's one of the best machines you can get for that kind of price point. I prefer the m-series chassis now...
went northeast of Regina yesterday, enough to keep longtrack cool off-trail (especially sticking to the trees)...more north we went = more snow; also heard Grenfell is OK.
compare model # with the one on this site:
BOSS Arctic Cat 1M / King Cat / Mtn. Cat Seats First Place Parts
(I'm not connected to this site at all but that seems like a good price too...)
On another forum, I'm Knuckles_Muldoon (sidekick to "The Champ" - you may have heard "The Champ" sketches on the radio 10 years ago or so). Knuckles was taken when I registered here today so I typo'd Muldoon into Mudloon...I kinda like Mudloon and kept it. Makes me sound like a quadder tho...
A buddy bought an '06 Rev Summit last year and he did so after quite a bit of research. Apparently, the '06 is desireable because BRP changed/upgraded the rear suspension slightly but you don't have the troublesome '07 800 motor. For whatever reason, it's the lightest out of all the model...
...so I still have lots to learn. But have had a great time so far - even tho I took it up relatively late...in my mid-30s. Joined up because a friend at work recommended this forum. Looking forward to checking things out here.
I guess I'm a Cat guy:
94 Jag Z 440
97 Jag 440
