Very impressive release but lets see some sleds on the snow with feedback from the public instead of just paid factory riders. You're a very brave and/or foolish guinea pig if you snowcheck one without at least seeing demo sleds in action.
And you would rather support Merica who just shut down a pipeline that could have helped thousands of Albertans? Buy the product that you like the best and leave politics out of it.
I used to refer to my standard 509s as Fogohnines, complete junk, but the Sinister Ignites I bought this year have been the best goggles I've ever had. Use on intermittent as needed during the day and on steady for the ride back to the truck.
With about 1400 problem free km on the 20.5 I've been considering putting a tune on the sled. We ride pretty much between 3-4000 feet and would like to run a stage 1 with 4 psi constant.
Just looking for some Canadian reviews. Which company? Stage? Longevity? Clutching? Worth the money?
Thanks
Nearly pulled my shoulder out the other morning not expecting the first pull to be so hard. Definitely harder than my 18. Perhaps consider standing on the side of the sled and using 2 hands for the first start. The Shot should have it for the rest of the day.
I'm guessing this is going to be the case on 90% of used sleds in the next couple of years. There's going to be some good deals out there once the bill collectors come calling but it will be buyer beware.
Great thread! Just wondering the cost of all these sleds? Are the Polaris and Cat sleds with aftermarket turbos in the same ballpark as a Doo factory turbo? Are they pull and go?
The PROs are known for keeping the front end down, being stable and great for technical riding - short limiter strap
The KHAOS is more lively, picks the skis up easier and is much more lively - long limiter strap
It's just really to have the ability to switch between the two so easily
I think it's a great addition. Run it short going down the trail or if we're playing on some steep hills. Long when we're boondocking. It hasn't frozen up yet but we rarely get temps below -10. So nice to change the length of your limiter strap in about 30 seconds.
It's like having a Pro RMK...
Consider a motor from Recreational Motorsports. A little pricey especially with the exchange rate but it will save you a lot of headaches. Pretty much drop in, change the gearing and go. Tried the Powerfist route, screwed around with the carb for who knows how long and eventually gave up. Their...
