I bought a used set of uclear Hbc 200s to try this year for $300. I like it is a boomless mic system and the little testing at home I found the voice communication to be very clear but was a little disappointed in the music quality but for the price it's a good deal...
Give these guys a call in Quebec, most shops get their rebuilds from here. I received 2 cranks from them last season and they also do crankcase line boring.
I am doing the same, you can do it in the chassis. You need to remove the belt cover and unplug the wirring harness, unbolt the cross bar then you have room to work. You only have to unbolt the top fuel rail to pull out injectors then head will come off. Good idea to remove reeds for inspection...
Measure your piston at the crown and near the bottom of the skirt.(Assaultrmk). Your piston may have too much clearance at the skirt causing the scuffing which can also crack the cylinder skirt.
Running mapsource with ibycus map on my pc (windows xp) with no problems and want it on my laptop which has windows 7. On my laptop I downloaded garmin training centre version 3.5.3 and it works and having problems loading mapsource 6.16.3 web update. Error in setup pops up. " no previous...
Check your throttle bodies, if your airbox hasn't been sealed up your tb's can get gummed up with belt dust causing poor idle.
If your idle is too low the engine will die when you try to use reverse.
There is a couple things to check since you added more coolant. Bleed the system to make sure there is no airlocks. It is easy to do, start the sled at get it warmed up and on top of the head there will be a thermostate cover that has a screw on it. Loosen it and you should have antifreeze...
I noticed the sled started with a high idle, I want to clean the throttle bodies, I took off the air box and saw they are dirty with grime and belt dust. I have a 07 d7 . If I remove that fuel rail hex screws will I be able to access the boots clamps or do I have to remove the injectors as well...
Run your oil tank down, add amsoil, pull the rope and go. Synthetic oil will blend with mineral. I have ran interceptor for years. Once you change brands stick with it.
I agree with the captain. The last time I tried to save a buck, it cost me more money in the long run. Do it right the first time, you will sleep better at night. Look at the wiesco piston kit for the 700.
I am running the slp clutch set with 19/42 gearing. You use the stock chain with 19/42 setup. I have the slp blue/yellow primary spring which has a higher engagment then stock and mtx weights which are tunable for different elevation. It is a good setup for me since I ride in bc and sk.
