I don't agree with it being mandatory, while I always wear it on my summit, I never do on my wide track while trapping. I don't feel I need a helmet while crawling through the woods checking traps. Fur hat and goggles.
I'm not sure if it is mandatory here in NL, I know to ride the groomed trails...
2x8's pressure treated on mine. Put them nice and tight together, they will shrink a small bit and it allows water to pass through without puddling like plywood. Both my trailers have this. Way stronger then plywood also.

IMO the doo 6.9's are the best ski out there. I bought c&a's 8" mtx last year for a little more floatation and hate them, way to aggressive for me. My son is using sly dogs 7 inch and i didnt like the feel of those either. I havent used the ds2 but i wound not say that the 6.9's are terrible...
Ran one half of last year and sled never idled right and was harder to start. Never noticed any performance difference, took off and sold after a month or so. Ordered right from BMP

Easy as pie, buy this kit 415129627 from brp. You wont beat that price anywhere. I went with high torque rollers in primary and secondary.

Over 2000 on new motor, running good, i know lots of people running his 860r without any troubles. I went with mcb dual ring pistons, new crank bearings and crank balancing. 145 psi of both sides. No complaints so far
Yep leaking through ur cap, top of oil tanj gets distorted with all the heat. There is an aluminum insert you can buy to put in and it returns to oridinal shape.
