    09 154 mod advise

A clutch kit is definitely best option. Also going to a 14-1 head will help bring performance up in the mid range and more torque throughout the powerband, both clutching and head will really help out in the deep powder, just remember to run premium.

    New Rider

Best is to come with someone or call ahead and plan out some riding. Myself I know Boulder like back of my hand as well as a few more challenging areas and Rod Chayko knows every area and we both always up for a ride!

Sled Revving from 5500rpm's to 6500rpm's

Sounds like the fixed sheave bushing on the primary may be damaged or worn, common problem on the Xp's, may also be a roller or any number of the critical part inside the primary. If your out in Revy and still having a problem just give me a call and we can check into it. I got my own shop just...

    010 summit 800 stock clutching good/bad??

Stock clutching is comparable to all season tires, clutching to your specific riding (mountain, saskatchewan trail/lake etc.) is like putting studded winter tires or mudders. The Dj kits are a great investment and sled performance is best bang for buck.

    FALLOUT: Avalanche-Turbo March 13,2010

The media definitely likes to make up their own facts and juggle stuff around till it fits what they want. They had been at our shop in town for those couple days and took anything we said completely out of context. I got a pile of nasty letters and had soon realized that they reported I said...

Is my new sled X Package?

Grey a-arms and color scheme says it an o8 Adjustable shocks, low profile windshield, no holes in console plastic (holes are in everests to fit larger windshield) and digital gauge package all say it an X model. cat't see the brake line but should be a steel braided. Also if you'd like I have a...

    91 Octane Recommended

Running lower grade fuel will cause faster carbon build up especially in the y-pipe and rave valves. the 800r is designed to run 91-94. You can run lower grade but performance and life will go down a bit so the extra expense is more or less cheap preventive maintenance

    rave valves

Different springs are available and another cool mod is some of the older style rave caps that had the red center are actually an adjuster for the spring. havent done it myself but worked on a couple guys sleds now that modded to fit those rave caps. As for cleaning makes sure after scraping...

My 800 xp has a miss

Previous posts are definitely great to do. If you go out afterwards and still finding that its doing it then check your rpm to makes sure your not hitting the rev limiter, if not than a good crab service may be good idea to ensure somethings not partially blocked causing a top end lean on one side

    Lodging & Rental Suggestions

Accomodations in Revy are very plentiful and it all depends what you are looking for, Some have easy access for large trailer parking but a cab is needed to go anywhere in town, The Powder springs has limited parking but are located downtown, have an attached bar (the last drop) which is also a...

    2008 800r XP Belt Recommendation

Here in Revelstoke we definitely hace a few fixes when it comes to the 2008 xp's. First make sure all the upgrades are done ( driveshaft, re-flashed etc.) quick way to know if you have the re-flash done is if you have a max RPM still left on your display. In the new program it was decided not to...
