Hey back on here after 10 years in onterrible. Just moved back to Calgary and excited to get back out to the mountains. I just looked and the last time I logged into my account here was 2014. A lot has changed and I am definitely fatter. lol
I have a 660 Grizzly and love it and I believe the new 700 grizz would be awesome but after ridding my father inlaws BRP650 I would buy one in a second. The power is incredible and the ride/handling is smooth and predictable. It easily beat my buds new 800 polaris and a 750 brute in a flat out...
I have found on my last 4 doo's that they are geared too high and once I gear them down belt life is almost doubled. This and any sort of extra vent/cooling for those clutches is recomended. As well make sure the plastic piece covering the clutches is taken off.
The best one I have seen is on the 1000 and the 600 SdIs they have relays, they are 40.00 each through the dealer or 6.00 from NAPA. The whole 180.00 belt thing is ludicrous(sp) so I am trying a ultramax XS belt for 110.00. I just keep reminding myself that you have to pay to play but my wife...
I thought that we drove a long ways to ride in the mountains( 10 hrs ) but this weekend we ran into a group of 8 guys who drove all the way from Quebec to Valemount. They had a truck with two sleds on the deck and six sleds on the trailer. 50hrs to get there WOW.I am glad I am not paying there...
A group of us are going to be in Valemount next friday and saturday and where wondering if anyone was going to blue river that would like to show us around. We usually just ride at valemount or Mcbride but would like to see some new areas.
This is a pet peave(sp) of mine. Its so frustrating watching guys with enclosed trying to go up logging rodes in the spring and end up blocking the entire road for everyone else. we use are decks in the early fall and spring and use the enclosed in between. It would be the ultimate to be able to...
We stayed at a great place called Revelstoke cabin. www.revelstokecabin.com. Great place to stay and Lionel is a great host. You can have a cabin to yourself, hottub,BBQ and a heated shop(for you polaris guys).
I have had a 800 151 Rev for the last three years and have bought a new Rt1000 162 this year. There is a noticeable difference in power and will climb to places you dont want to be. As for handleing in the trees I actually find it more forgiving and easier to ride. It has so much flotation that...
I just picked up anew 07 mini z for my 3 1/2 year old for christmas. Who on here has one and at what age where your kids when they started riding. I am worried that he maybe to young. He has a 50cc quad and does Ok but I think the sled takes a little more strength.
