I'm attempting to reduce my primary clutch temps. The alignment is good, clutch is clean, belt new and clean, rpms are good. Did a few runs and checked with heat gun, secondary was good, but primary was hot compared to secondary and other primary clutches in the group.
I bought a new 17 xf high country 153" . I've noticed the clutches are running quite hot. I'm running the original 104, I've read the 18's run a 112, is this belt better?
How do you guys like these machines? Are they decent on the trails and mud once you gear them down. Thinking about selling the Wolverine and trying one out.
My sled was awesome on belts..., until my last trip, I blew one, then blew two more within 60 Kms. The sled has around 500 miles, not one belt, then all a sudden, in really heavy wet snow, blew one, then two more the next day. It's peeling the top layer off, seems like alignment is out?
