Ditto here... that is NON stop on my sled, even with it a decent ways tighter than I'm used to. I'm surprised to hear people saying they run them loose, do you just get used to that noise then? it bugs the piss out of me!
Yeah... I really like not having snapped posts anymore.
I don't know who got the first post like this, but I know wildchild has made a bunch of them in the last couple seasons... people seem to like them.
People deal with aftermarket warranties all the time. I know quite a few people with then on polaris sleds, and never heard them say "nobody will work on my sled". Maybe it'd different up there... I'm in CO, and can only speak for the people I've dealt with in the states. Both cat & polaris...
This.
one time solution. I've beefed up bars with rebar, I'd welded them, I've made them taller & shorter... then I bought ONE wildchild T top, and I can't think of any reason I'd need to buy another post aside from the heim joint wearing out.
you can stick with a mostly stock setup (I...
Zbros came out with a SWEET looking T top post. Looks like the T top bolts on.
I'm hoping Wildchild comes up with something similar, I like how he builds his products.
I thought we talked about this kind of thing just a few weeks ago?;)
So... if you're going to bash, explain what you think is bad about the warranty. Don't just say it's sketchy, explain.
btw, you're talking about making a sled that costs $1500 more, and has stock power.
I'd prefer to get...
The only issues I don't understand here, is why the hell did this guy leave his sled to have this big deal made of this? I would hope that 99% of us would have gotten it off the resort no matter what, and been a bit more responsible about this.
The riding of the ski resort... W.G.A.F. It's a...

a couple more from last weekend, never quite got the right spot for a big hit, but we had fun.

many of us are getting rid of the adj posts because they're weak & they snap instead of bending, if you want one I'll sell you one with a brand new bottom 1/2 (the part that snaps)
I've got both & won't buy another hcr. The wide front end is less than ideal for the mountains (I removed it & put an M set of A Arms on), and the stiffer track would not be my first choice.
All we do is jump & climb, and the next sled will be a snopro instead of an HCR.
I've been running them for a couple years now, no way would I buy a cat belt again. With carlisle, $10 & 2 weeks later I've got a new belt in the mail.
Performance, from the ones that I've used, is equal or better than the 060.
I just bought one from Countrycat for $39, still has the same...
what sled are you running?
You need to get a set of egt's ABSOLUTE minimum. You can do a few things that will allow you to test your setup to see if it will work for you without a box. (like was said if it's an M8, if it's a 1000, you need a box & egt, period.)
That Jaws can will work great...
