Some great lists of gear, thanks. saw a slick idea from a pal that also rides a 'Doo he cut out some areas from under side of seat foam, for the heavier items stashed (in smaller tool style bag) works great, also need a tunnel bag for sure for other items.
I agree that personal names mentioned in a negative/rant review probably shouldnt be allowed due to the nature of the three sides to stories but as a sled forum, we should be able to give review on products, isnt the whole idea of forums information sharing both good and bad ? removing them...
Fortunately I havent stayed there, got the link sent from a bud on facebook, some hilarious comments on the buisness facebook page.. not sure if they have removed them yet... good PR. wow
We might b heading to Revy for a scoot on thur-sun, bca distributor lives fairly close to me, if you havent got it figured out locally, we may b able to run one up for you. Just give BCA a call theve been super with our gear needs.
Wow, buddy sure got roasted, but living in BC I also got wheeled for having 'tinted' glass on yes lifted dodge, I thought it was pretty dumb having a cop do his best ch!t hook turn on a rural highway at 80km/h to pull me over, I cant believe he saw that the glass was tinted as it was the...
Im pretty sure you can get the engine hours off the 07, also see if u can get a printout from a dodge dealership of all the data thats on the brainbox. well worth a diagnostic check, I have a 06 and did the entire front end and u joints @ 160,000k and an injector.
I always carry 2 shovels, good one with me and spare on tunnel in old pack with safety gear, ya its a bit of weight but I ditch it when playing in bowls rather that than not have spare stuff with me.
some good tips posted , my 2 cents are go with downhill landings and soft snow conditions ....fluffy = good... frozen = pain... def recommend smaller drops first, big ones landed badly can wreck your sled and your back for a long, long time.....
A quick note on the "spawning of leaf lickers" I live in the Kootenays and there are unfortunatly several of these wizards hanging around. Most are NOT from BC !! Many are trust funders turned pretend hippy from Ontario, as well as a huge demographic that moved here from the US.......... wish...
The original plan of draining a substantial lake to then use that area as a tailing pond was pretty dumb in my opinion. Im all for responsible resource based economy as my family has been in logging and mining here in BC since 1930's. As always there are the leaf lickers thats hate anything...
BC certainly means bring cash, but theres some amazing sledding fishing quadding clean lakes ect. that said I live pretty much between Castlegar/Nelson and find myself shopping /banking in c'gar the majority of the time, also use the airport some and trail has a small airport that I think is...
