Just wondering if anyone has changed a starter drive cable in a 2008 Artic cat F6 lxr and if so is there any easy way of doing it without taking it to a shop?

If anyone has some input would be nice. This sled will before my wife, right know she is on a 2008 Phazer MTX and I am getting here a new sled but can't decide if I should get her a Summit SP E Tec 600 or the Summit Sport 600 Carb. Any info may help.

Looking for some info. My buddies wife sled stopped moving on the weekend. I'm not a Cat guy but I took the belt off and the secondary clutch you can move in both directions and is very noisey behind it. I'm thinking it's in the gear box. I haven't had a chance to pull it apart yet just looking...
