hello there, i have a 1993 formula plus. i was wondering if i buy a two inch handle bar extension for it, would all the cables still reach? is there room for this kind of thing on an old sled?
have a good one;)
I was really disapointed today, go into canadian tire, christmas music everywhere, nothing but decorations and trees for ever. no snowmobile stuff out whats so ever. no ski stuff out, no snowboard stuff out. i didnt think to ask however, maybe you have to get the belts from the parts counter...
yeah, i figured as much, how would warranty be required on a drive belt? if you shred it you cant return it? have a good one. it would be nice for some snow around here. cant golf cant sled/snowboard.
have a good day everybody
excellent, thats kinda what i thought was the case, that the polaris primary may have been a better set up than stock. alls i know, it sure tears a strip out of the grass.:D
i was tinkering on this 1993 formula 583 i bought this summer, and as i got closer i noticed the clutch has "polaris" on it. is this common? have i got a problem? it engages and seems to function properly. any opinions would be great.
have a good one
hey everybody, just trying to get some advise on drive belts. looking for my 1993 formula 583 with inch and a half track. it will likely never hit the mountains, but i am looking for a good quality value priced belt for it.
any ideas? opinions?
thank you
OVER SIX FOOT,i have a 1992 formula plus parts sled. has the full suspension, gas tank, trailing arms, looks like the full exhaust except for the y pipe into the heads. theres a carb floating around under the hood also. gauges, any way, if you need any of this stuff call me 913-6835, going cheap...
i think i joined the club too late, but i am definitly in for a tee shirt, XXL if there is one available, i will be attending the show now that i am a hard core sledder:D
i am looking forward to visiting the booth and all
:cool:excellent:cool:
i saw at used and new take off tracks advertised, for cheap, starting at 100.00. they should be even to tell you what kind you will need also. i have about an inch and a half on my 583, and i hope it to be plenty around here. i wonder if you have to "drop and roll" the gears to get a two inch...
welcome over six foot, i too have a 1993 formula z 583, just got it a week ago, 4500 km, seems real strong, hope to have some good luck with it this winter. i just got to get rid of the gawdawefull purple windshield on it, it kinda clashes with the red hood.
have a good one
i will have to take a closer look, it seemed to me that there may be a "clear coat" of some kind over the graphics , because it was the first thing that came to mind, was to remove that.
have a good one
its actually red, however the graphics on the side is a fairly ugly purple that i dont agree with, however the condition of the sled outwieghs the look.
hello everybody. i just got myself an old machine to try out the whole sledding expieriance.
i have a 1993 skidoo formula z 583
( i know, i know, that much horsepower may be too hard for me to handle:D )
i just couldnt pass it up as it is like brand new. i wont be trying the mountain experiance...
