    why would you call Calgary Forestry when the Ranger in charge is based out of Peter Lougheed and they confirmed that the trails will not be groomed :) but then Catarract/Etherington areas are now open to sleds.

    I also called the Kananaskis Trail info line this morning. The lady I talked to said she would call back this afternoon. If allowed I think tomorrow will be a day off work to go out and play in the snow. I will post again with the answer from the Ranger station.

    I forded the (BC) pass twice last year and both times the trip there was horrible but the end result was the best times I've had sledding. It must be said that I am fairly new at this sport so I may not know what I am talking about. I will be going out to Cararract after the first major snow...

    I've been checking the site out for about a year but never posted. Hope to sled up the Sheep River and at Cataract Creek again this season. I have couple of old 600 Power Specials (and other summer toys). I hope to use the forum to relay conditions and find out conditions when not around.:twocents
