skidoo does not require a blow hole........polaris sleds need all kinds of stuff to make them run right. Put gas in and ride it. drill out clutch cover on every spot you can drill...... or junk cover entirely if you dont need belt holder.

I have a new 174x3.2 sitting on the shop floor ready for install..............it looks real cool....lol....I am sure it will work just fine and last longer than I keep the sled. According to ski-doo it was a weight saving decision. Yes an 8 tooth fits fine and it should have been there to begin with. So if you have a 2014 sled with a 3" might as well keep it as it really has no difference then a 15 the way it is set up.

Are you changing out the drivers? First thing I do when mine comes in. Taking the 7 tooth out for an 8. According to BRP this was one of their weight saving tactics.......................REAL STUPID and its going to be 3 hours of needless work to a brand new sled.
