i did sort off the same thing but went the other direction, i cut 2 14" pieces of 5/16 round aluminum and drilled them out then mounted the rack sideways so it is big enough to hold one of the 6.2 gal jerry cans.

now i wish i would of came up with alan, thats alot of snow.

thanks for the help guys, it was accualy a freind on mines sled. the quad was an older polaris sporstman green in colour, if he has some pics i will post them later.

if anyone happens to see this sled could you please contact me, it was stolen from a buddies shop last night in grande prairie along with a polaris quad, laptop and a couple other things. it wont be hard to miss as everything has been dipped in white marble. thanks,

i think i'm going to pass on the shocks, i jacked the sled up and took the old shocks off and i think the extra couple of inches is going to be to much. thanks and good luck with the sale.
