    BLUE RIVER 2023-2024

Rode fingers Saturday. Rained all day down low, and sleet at the top. No snow. Snow was really good in the morning, but got pretty dense in the afternoon. Slushy and bumpy trail. Booth attendant said 90 guys at salmon, 83 at groundhog, 35 in fingers, 30 in red sands, 30 in white river, and only...

    BLUE RIVER 2023-2024

Some guys ideas of good snow are different than others. My standards are obviously a little higher than yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BLUE RIVER 2023-2024

Threatened to snow all day. Woke up to 2” of new on the truck. Never amounted to much up top. Today is supposed to be more. Fingers crossed. I wouldn’t waste my time going back and I only live 2 hours away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BLUE RIVER 2023-2024

Rode salmon Monday and fingers Tuesday. There is about 2 ft of fresh in spots on top of a 1 foot thick crusty layer. Was brutal to ride around in the trees. Old tracks are icy and hard. Needs a serious dump to erase that bad layer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Blue River 2022 -2023

Rode salmon Friday. Trail was amazingly good. Drove up 4 k or so. Leave your enclosed trailers at home. Tons of untracked snow, but settling fast. Almost bumper deep in some spots and 6” in others. Great last ride of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mid April riding

It’s been a lower than normal snow year. With the warm temperatures, access will get worse daily. Enclosed trailer season is rapidly coming to an end unfortunately. I would think you will be riding mud by then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Small guage, went home on low fuel light last ride, only put in 26 litres. Fuel guage is not accurate for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    G5 turbo Gears and chain

I have a g4 and g5 here. Chains are definitely different. I picked up a replacement chain and sprockets for the g5. My replacement chain is definitely a Hyvo, and they tell me the part numbers are the same for the g4 and g5 gears? WTF? Is it possible that BRP had a non hyvo chain built to work...

    G5 - What’s the difference from a G4

This Post was started by the biggest Polaris Die Hard Guy there is, stirring the pot. Wondering why he was in the Doo dealership in the first place? Oh wait, he doesn't have a sled to ride. Still waiting on his Boost, so he has time to look around. Come to the dark side Kenny... While the...

    Boost tubes

I see a lot of advertising for aftermarket boost tubes for the factory turbos, all claiming to solve the problem of boost tubes cracking. Only problem is, I don’t see many complaints of this actually going on. Question is, aftermarket is certainly better, but if you are leaving boost levels...

    Blue River 2022 -2023

We rode fingers on Friday. Only some snow bikes made it into the thumb. Had the whole place to ourselves. Snow is skinny compared to previous years. Your playing Russian roulette with your a arms if you want to chance it. Personally I would wait for more snow, to avoid a shorter season. Sent...

B.C. risks return to severe pandemic restrictions

I was in Blue river this weekend. All was good with the locals, but when I got to my hotel, there were signs everywhere stating masks were mandatory. I had mine on, so no biggie. When I went to my room there were a bunch of sledders standing in the hallway chatting. I didn't want to be a dick...

    2019/2020 Mcbride Conditions and Updates

Your right about going back there. The reward isn’t really worth the effort, especially when you can ride all the way back to the kakwa from renshaw, and you don’t have to worry about closure. I remember all the avy chutes you had to cross. Didn’t some guys die back there a few years back...

    2019/2020 Mcbride Conditions and Updates

Never said i was, but someone has. This is why people need to learn how to read the maps, so they know that are not in closed areas. Just because you follow some other non compliant guys tracks into an area, or some guy told you on the internet, doesn’t mean you aren’t going to get a fine, or...

    2019/2020 Mcbride Conditions and Updates

Here’s the facts. I know, because I make every effort to stay in compliance, and have been in contact with the BC Government. I use the proper mapping overlayed on my Garmin GPS. Is there riding back there, YES. But you have almost 30k of trail, which can be dangerous for the inexperienced...

    2019/2020 Mcbride Conditions and Updates

Good luck with your appointment, as the office is likely closed given the current circumstances. You can email the office like I did, and you get all the answers you need. Your wasting your time anyways trying to prove something that people already know. There is closure in there, so ride with...

    2019/2020 Mcbride Conditions and Updates

That is not how it works. Closure is closure, no matter if you see tracks or not. You need to know the boundaries. Attend a few meetings and you will understand. As far as any riding, yes there is a bit, but getting a bunch of disrespectful sledders ripping around back there, and there will be...
