My name is Mat and I moved into BC a year ago to sled. Been on the forum for a while, but never introduced myself. If anyone is ever in the fernie, lumberton or salmo area sledding, shoot me a pm. PS - only found 18" of snow so far in the kootenays, but the road ride was a good break in ride.
I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to ride the new cats with the new steering geometery? I ride an 09 m8 and love the way its steers. To me the proclimbs look like more of an xp style steering post. Pros and Cons of the new setup??? Debating which new M to buy. Thanks:beer:
Just wanted to thank everyone in valemount involved in the sledding industry. I was impressed with the "spot" in the allen creek cabin and the young guy checking everyones beacons. Sets a good example for other clubs in the industry. He had up to date conditions and the avalanche info. I will...
Found out that the secondary springs weaken...600 miles and mines very weak, the belt was down in the sheaves about 1/16". Replaced it with a H5 alloy spring from speedwerx. belts sits great now!! Just wanted to let everyone know if they didn't already.

If anyone finds themselves in a situation where your sled needs a chopper ride out, like me last year, Call Greg at Bighorn helicopters based out of Fernie. He helped us out early on a sunday morning!! And for a fair price!
Thanks Greg!
I was wondering if anyone is running the slp y-pipe and pipe with a different can. I don't care for the slp cans as they sound like crap, but i like not having to run a fuel controller. Talked to a tech from slp and he says you cant run a different can without damaging the engine! Im wondering...
I'm in the market for a aftermarket pipe, any suggestions?? Is anyone running the PC5 with auto tune? is it to set program? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
