Was up there last summer. Still some good access, but a little tricky to get in.

Long weekends get busy, to much traffic, May long is usually the most enforced. I prefer a non long weekend or better yet a weekday.

I just saw a video posted on YT from April 2nd. Only snow/ice at the top and the trail in. The rest looked open and looked like lots of traction. Should be fine now.

Vega Sand hills has a few small/medium hills but yes Brule Lake (Just past Hinton) has all the tall ones.

That does seem a little low. We've gone to BC to ride and I believe we don't need anything to be legal there. Quite surprising given the parties in power and the plentiful terrain and numbers of machines they could cash in on.

Cadomin area has some climbs, some that keep away only the top 1% as they say. There are 2 lines up to Cadomin Mtn that can be quite a challenge. We call one the rock wall, you can see if from Mountain Park Cemetery facing Northeast and the other is the peak just to the East of the rock wall...
