I have an 08 Rancher with 3500km on it and no problems with it. Just regular maint. and that's it. I've never ridden the Kodiak, but I'm really happy with my 420 so I'd say go with the Honda.

We have an 03 6.0 and I get about 12-13L/100km going to the cottage with one atv. Around town it's about 19l/100km and towing a 33 foot camper is 20-25l/100km.

I love my area. I'm in Ontario, and my county, and the surrounding counties are all on the list as the safest :)

I use Photomatix Pro by Canon. Came with my SLR. I don't think you can download it off their site though.

Here's a pic of my 420...still with no mods except air filter! My cousin is getting an atv though so it'll be worth spending the money to upgrade. First up I think will be tires. Then new suspension and exhaust.

I can't say anything about the oil, I use 5w30 I believe. Maybe 10w30... Anyways, mine shifts hard as well when it is cold. First time of the day it is always a bit rough. If you can, let it run for 30 seconds or a minute and it's fine.

I with the crowd that says everyone should wear helmets. I don't see why you wouldn't. Luckily everyone around here wears helmets, I have yet to see someone without one in my 3 years of riding. One teen didn't but he was going to the dump down the road at like 5km/h.

My buddy had the Harman Kardon (Harman Kardon Go + Play Micro Portable Loudspeaker Dock for iPod and iPhone - Apple Store (Canada)) and it sounded amazing. But he did blow the speaker and had to get it replaced.

From what I hear, Warn has different qualities for different makes. For some brands which are willing to pay more, they get better winches that are actually sealed and well built. But other companies want cheaper ones, so maybe Yamaha is a cheap company? I have one that was made for Kubota...

I had the exact same thing happen to my Honda 420. Was with some buddies and we all started up and they took off and I couldn't move. It ran for about 3-5 minutes and all of a sudden it was revving again and seemed to have no problem. All I could think of was that there was dirt or something...

I live right by them, and have had nothing but great service. Even if I order online, it gets to my house by the next day. Great prices compared to many other companies.

What kind of winch is it? Maybe the gears are worn down and the teeth are just tapping something to make the clicking sound. Or the motor is dead and it is just the actuator clicking?
