the rk pistons are 2mm shorter then stock, trying to raise ports up, way too much. other fix kits have taller pistons to be more reliable, some are cast reliable and some are wiseco. also poor cooling head design
so you pay for what you get sometimes
carls is using 2 separate cylinders, polaris went to the mono block to get more airflow, keeping inner transfer ports closer together, so with separate cylinders you cant gain larger ports. Big bores need more airflow to gain to make lots of hp, so maybe 165-170 hp, for $4600 I dont think so.
If you call soaking wet heavy 12" fresh snow hero snow? It was raining and snowing for a few days before this day. It wasn't really easy going, escpecially on a steep climb.
The Etec works great, ran all season, didn't miss a beat, more compression then the low compression stock head.
Rail extensions $150, used 151" track $350, or longer all good, The 600 will have lots of power, you wouldn't notice a difference, you won't have to change a thing for clutching and gearing, there geared down lower tehn teh 800 already. It will float better in the deep stuff and go alot...
flywheels are different, so you'd have to change that to work with the 05 components

I wouldn't say the mbrp can loses 5 hp over anyones can, thats not true, we have tested 5 different cans with 2 different M1000's one day of testing and found good results with 2 of them. and the mbrp was good.
For pipe, the most power comes from the Y pipe, the pipe added very little for the...
well the only fully ported big bore I've ever seen was the Terra Alps Racing kit, hands down beats out the others. No piston issues like the others. took the 1000 mod class in the local snow drags.
terra alps racing helix is all u need with a bit of extra weight. holds rpm , good acceleration and backshifts. best benefit for the xp's. The guys that have them are happy with them.
built and tested in the bc mtns.
some of these others are selling a bunch of parts to make money on all the...
cv tech gives a 1 year warranty on there cranks, some of the parts are from offshore tho, usually you will see these break sooner then wanted, lately they have been using fag german bearinngs or koyos which are good. The cranks need more oil for the rods and bearings. Terra Alps does a case mod...
