    T3 174 running boards

I don't really like the VEI ones, or how they incorporate, just my opinion... The Rasmussen boards are some of the more expensive ones, but are the only boards with the vertical support built in (besides the WRP boards which aren't even a consideration). The vertical component of these boards...

    No Spark, I've tried everything

Pulled the recoil to check the triggers again, looking for reasons as to why my output voltage was so low, and dead even on both triggers. I didn't by that my triggers were done, as it'd be rare for both to go and even more rare for both of them to be displaying exactly the same bad voltage...

    No Spark, I've tried everything

Yea, I didn't know until recently either. My buddy supplied the crankshaft at a steal, and he knew the year of the sled it was going into, so I didn't push. Simple mistake, not a big deal. I just traded him flywheels, so all it cost me was free time

    No Spark, I've tried everything

UPDATE: Sled is running now, and I've addressed the problem, incompatible parts. This sled is a 2008, apparently the crankshaft I've got is a 2009. In 2009 800r crankshaft mag stub changed from keyway at two o'clock to twelve, and grew by roughly 3/8" in length. So when I installed the flywheel...

    T3 174 running boards

Anybody try the Bret Rasmussen running boards. With the tunnel reinforcement they look like they'll be the stiffest boards to be found

    T3 174 running boards

I meant to add in the original post that I rode an XP for a season which had a CR tunnel, it's boards were very similar to the add on boards they are selling now. Definitely stiffer than stock, but still room for improvement. I would really like to get the CR boards as they will be my cheapest...

    T3 174 running boards

So I know there is a ton of posts on this already, but I'm trying to figure if I should buy CR Racing running boards, or some others. Reason being, I can get a good price on the CR boards, but am unsure if they'll do what I need, and can't seem to find the info I'm looking for (believe me...

    Tree riding skid setup ideas

A little late to the show on this one, but I completely agree with Lund's setup. I ran this set up for years on my 09 XP. I upgraded to the 2010+ longer center shock, which completely solved the wheelie problems with these sleds IMO. Back to the point, 2 XP's I set up this way, 156" x 3"...

    No Spark, I've tried everything

No, I had to drop it off, won't be able to get back at it until the weekend after next

    No Spark, I've tried everything

Are you referring to pin 14, ECM power supply? Pin 34 is signal or gnd to relay, and is different colors. As for the RD/BLU wire I tested it at the diagnostic connector (pin 4 - same wire) unless back probing I believe that ECM power supply cannot be tested with connector unplugged

    No Spark, I've tried everything

Already done, only once though, haha

    No Spark, I've tried everything

No, but the other ECM worked fine in the other sled. I will try that though

    No Spark, I've tried everything

I guess my language wasn't clear in my brief description of how I tested that circuit. What it was meant to say is: With the ECM plug disconnected, there is continuity to gnd at the pin which runs up to the kill switch ONLY when the switch is closed

    No Spark, I've tried everything

UPDATE** Rechecked gauge cluster for connection problems and bent pins - all ok Checked ignition coil low voltage wires for continuity to ECM plug (unplugged from coil) checked for continuity to gnd - only black wire has continuity to gnd (as I think it grounds the coil through the ECM -...

    No Spark, I've tried everything

To start it can. Instructions to do so come right out of the factory manual under no start condition

    No Spark, I've tried everything

OK I've tried everything, and can't get a sled to run, but first the background 2008 Summit Everest 800 pTek 156" x 3" Freshly rebuilt, and installed engine Sled ran up until the engine destroyed itself, and even after that I could still get it to start. It wasn't until after the...

Riding in the Caroline to Nordegg areas

Hi all, looking for some new people to ride with. I have ridden Rig Street, and South Fork a fair bit, little bit west of Rocky too. I'm not opposed to discovering new areas. I live in Mirror, so I would prefer not going much further west on day rides, as the drive gets to be long and expensive...
