Well I think my season is officially over. A crew of guys I know are heading to Revelstoke on the 22nd. I was considering going but have decided against it. Sounds like it's been raining a bunch so I'm afraid the conditions won't be the greatest. Therefore I got a grand total of 6 days of riding. We went to Blue River between Xmas and New Years. There was lots of snow but fairly tracked out at that point. All in all a decent trip with good friends. Then I did my annual trip to the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming at the start of February. Another great trip. Snow was amazing. That was my 7th year going down there and it never lets me down. Another year with 0 miles on the flats though. Riding the mountains is my passion but man I miss ripping around Saskatchewan a little. I've actually only put on about 40 miles at home in the last 4 years. Crazy really. Sadly time to summarize the Kitty Cat. Can't flippin wait until next season!!!! Tell me about your guys year.

Season was good. with the low level of local snow i made more trips to the hills.
Did my AST1 in Dec
Rode McBride early Jan,
Rode Clearwater late Jan.
Back to McBride 2 weekends in a row in Feb
One local trip to Edson
I'll be riding Grizzly Lodge in April now.

So not too bad considering the lack of snow

9 days in around Sicamous with the earliest start ever with Bnorth up at Blue Lake Oct 23/16. A couple days trapping south of Rocky, a scenic rock ride up to Onion Lake and a couple good rips around home. Hoping to hit resume this weekend and log another dozen days before its over... work has been super busy so haven't had the time we had last winter. Busy is good

Riding was hit and miss this year. Started slow locally, had a couple of high spots. In general, had to travel to do most of our riding. Expensive year per mile this season.

Best season yet and it's far from over! Got around 35 days in so far. Lost count. 90% Valemount. A bit of Mcbride and 1 day Blue River. This past weekend was the best March conditions I've ever seen. Hopefully got 4 more weekends.

Didn't keep track of riding days, somewhere near 30. About 2000km so far. Best snow in the last few winters and found some new zones combined with my earliest start ever makes it a bit easier to shut'r down early as momma is due with our first in a week and a half. All in all my best season yet with hope for a couple late spring rides still. Maybe I'll tackle the elusive June ride this year.

I can't bring myself to the realization that the season is over. Anybody got an empty spot heading west?!

I hope it's not needing surgery for me. I'm a stage 1 right now. Physio said they're gonna try strengthen my core a lot to try prevent back pain. Mine was from a car accident in October. Stupid drunk driver blew a red light going 80 and I tboned them on my way to work in the morning... at least the one day I did get out it was like 3 feet of fresh at least.
