Anyone fixin to get some serious sledding in this winter? I know I am. We're long overdue for a snow year. Been at least 2 seasons since I've done any sledding here at home on the flats. My main focus is riding in the mountains but I really miss the riding at home when there's good snow to be had. Hopefully all the moisture we've seen this summer will continue into winter. Let it snow!!

Great, I'll have two snowmud members to blame for putting tracks in the good stuff around Blackstrap now.

Won't have to worry about me! Haven't ridden around home in years. Even on a "good" year I struggle finding any snow. I head north! Always looking for new people and places to ride the flats and the mountains with though so it's good to hear from you guys'.

How often do you guys get out to Blue River / Valemount. I seem to be able to make time for 3 trips a year myself. I agree on the crumby conditions around home. I don't remember the last time I had any desire to ride the 8'' of wind beat crusty saskatchewan snow.

Snow in SE is pretty good. Stubble is full. I'm 25 mins East of Regina and can ride pretty much anywhere but hear its alot nicer another 30 mins East or South. Going exploring today to see. Was through Yorkton / Canora area over holidays..nothing ridable there....further north you go worse it gets

I live along Hwy 1...the number of trucks and trailers going East is way higher than I've ever seen

Thanks for posting on conditions east of Regina. Please keep it up. Have relatives about 60 miles east, we may have to pay them a visit. Yes, the further north you go, less snow there is.
