Has anybody been out to Bearberry since we got the dump of snow? How does one get out there? Where is the best place to stage? Can you buy trail passes in Sundre or Olds? I'm thinking of going out tomorrow for some trail rides if anybody is interested.

PM me.

Cheers

You can buy ASA trail pass at Central Cycle in Olds or Mountains Edge in Sundre. If you do purchase the trail pass make sure you put "Olds" in the "Vendor Snowmobile Club" line on the trail pass. There is a staging area about 3 miles straight west of the Bearberry Salon don't follow the highway when it makes a sharp turn north keep going west until you come to a t intersection, the staging area is located there.

I think it is just west from where 584 turns north. If anyone can confirm please do.

Turn off Hi-way 584 to TR 334 where 584 takes a sharp turn to the north. As the picture indicates in the Catman16 post. Follow TR 334 to the t intersection at RD 75. The staging area is located there.

There's a few sharp turns on 584 after Sundre but you have to go through Bearberry before the turnoff. Now don't blink as you go through Bearberry or you will miss it, yes there is a sometimes on again off again Salon/Restaurant and a community centre.

I went out. There was some snow, but it wasn't great. Trails are all rutted up. Probably needs another foot or two to really be enjoyable.
