Hey guys I'm new to moutain sledding and trying to get my wife hooked so I'm looking for some trails with easy access to areas to play (more for me) and get her comfortable on her machine. I was down in Cataract Creek last year and it seems good but I'm wondering if there is anything closer to Calgary that I don't know about. I'm really looking for easy day trips until she is confident on her sled, don't want to scare her away from the sport. I'm near Brooks, so any areas within 3 hours would be good (she can sleep in the truck on the way there!). Thanks in advance.

You might want to try Blaberry in Golden, between Golden and Quartz on your right, follow road and unload at bridge, this trail will take you in a long way, mostly forestry roads

I'm usually about 1 hr 45min to Cataract, and just under 3 hrs to Golden, depending on weather conditions. He's from Brooks area, so Cataract is much closer. I'm not sure about other trails areas with mountain areas to play in other than Cataract, I haven't found any yet.
