I use these, the cable scratchers don't keep mine cool on the trail.

Highly recommend the skidoo reversible scratchers i run them on both my Polaris’s and they have never ran cooler. I prefer them due to the fact that they put more down pressure than the cables do

^^this. Hardest part is you may need to figure out how to mount the storage brackets.

They r not that hard to install I’ve installed many sets the polaris rails work well with them the only hard one to mount them on is a 174 due to the wide spaceing in the frount of the rail they will be very easy to do on a 144

I had them on my Axys. I have a set in my high country. They are down always and never wear out. 1800 mile so far. The storage cradle mount I just used Aluminum flat bar as a back plate to bridge the holes in the rails.

The doo scratchers go as fast backwards as they do forwards

If your looking for a scratcher that is reverse friendly you need to use either BRP rail scratchers or cables. All the other ones guys are showing you must be put into the storage position before backing up. I only use the BRP scratchers and have never had an issue.

do they mount same spot as the Polaris ones do. I'm in need of a set for my 2017 axys 163.
We stock the Ice Storms. Both rail scratchers and ski scratchers. We have a shipping coupon on our website for $20 towards shipping.

They are very good, I usually get 2 seasons out of them and we ride hard.

Yes and the rest bracket bolts on in the factory hole too for 163. Not so on the 174 as I had to add a backer plate over the cut out in the rail.
