Anyone who would like to come out and help this weekend, please PM me. We are hosting a Saturday BBQ after the day's work, and would like an accurate head count. Thanks

We have ways to get you into work area if you don't have a OHV. We can double easy. Should be a easy weekend. We are working with the Backcountry Flood guys on some creekbank stabilization work. Installing willow stakes to the edges and stuff like that. Come on out and see a bit of the area without snow. Very nice area worth the work. Meet new friends and help improve the area.

For this weekend's Trail Maintenance Days, we have changed where we will be camping at. We are now camping within the equestrian camping area of Etherington Creek P.R.A. campgrounds. The equestrian campground is located all the way to "the back" of the area, near the trailhead. When you enter Etherington Creek on the gravel road, follow it all the way in, to the back, and the equestrian campground is there, with the Group Camping area on the south side of the road. See all that can make it, who are coming out.

Trail Work this past weekend was a great success; new bridge willow staked and bridge ubuttments backfilled with soil, drainage for a spring across and under a trail completed as well as a banks secured with willow stakes, and - finally - new bridges' approach angles changed by completing a re-route and willow staking done to secure upstream side of bridge. All in a weekends work! A huge thank you to everyone involved - pictures and names to follow.

If you are going to have more in the up coming weeks please post. I was away the last few weeks but if I am off I would love to come down and help.

YES we will be having more work weekends out in the area. Lots in the works waiting for some government approvals. The flood guys are getting 2 more bridges built this fall and maybe more next year. We are gearing up for the season and sure hope we can get as many riders involved as we can. Could be as simple as a trailpass and club membership will be great.
