Anyone have an air box intake plenum for cat?

2019 alpha. Arm pump + tree = new front airbox and intake plenum.

Anyone have one or know of one? No dealers have any except cranbrook but that’s too far.

I would get that shipped asap, knowing cat it's a part that is probably on back order.

Yep, I know... brutal I waited two weeks for a bolt. Found one at a different dealership and got it instead. Literally every single air box piece from cat is no where. 3/4 of pieces are back ordered.

Don"s speed in wainwright has some pretty good stock. As do some of the smaller dealers in alberta.

If you can’t find one and don’t want to wait on cat give Wayne a call at Menz Toys he should be able to make something work for you from the mountain fit hood/intake plenum for a stock setup.

Can you use the headlight with those? I want to keep my headlight. We are a noon crew type of group. Always riding out in the dark.

Would be almost cheaper to get that vs cat.

The mountain fit site gives you an option to purchase the upper intake kit which will pull from the stock location...I think it just runs through a hose though and down to a block off plate and into the throttle bodies. I have not tried this setup before so I can’t vouch on how well it works, but at least it’s an option until you can get a plenum or the pieces you need rounded up

No I don’t believe you can run the headlight it will delete your headlight...with that being said I do a lot of night riding and have never used a headlight for night riding. Headlight does nothing when your going downhill and the pow is over the hood. Just invest in a good helmet light setup.

What parts did you break? The actual airbox plenum? Or just the outside shell of the hood? Got any pics of the damage? Might help sources a few other options for you

Might have a viper plenum up at the shop...I think they are similar might be able to make it work for your alpha depending on what pieces are salvageable from your alpha

i havent but i got 6-8 weeks off from sledding now. cranbrook has one but its $160 to ship it to me.... so wonder if a guy takes a gamble and orders it from cat and waits...

If you don't want to ride the rest of this year, I would try cat.

Is it the same as the older ones??? I don’t have time to check the part numbers but I believe bgpowersports and allwestpower sports on eBay both have cat parts for sale

Believe it’s 2018+

Shipping is what frustrates me, the price is ridiculous, $230 for Purolator from cranbrook to Regina. Or $160 for loomis. Then still gotta drive to Regina to get it because they don’t deliver to post office boxes for the farm.

What part exactly do you need?
Can patch it up with some speed grip for your trip?

I was already in bc, but bad luck struck me twice and I broke a finger so 6-8 weeks couch duty now. I had it patched up that night but I want to make it right.

Basically the whole air box and hood got smooshed. Belly pen tabs ripped off where the hood has the 1/4 turn retainers go on.

Anyone have an air box intake plenum for cat?
