I posted this in the golden forum too- rcmp were setting up at exit of silent pass today around 3:30. Heard they have targeted quartz and Gormans over last couple weekends. They are out making a presence so far this season. Must be some sort of provincial mandate they drafted up as I’m hearing more and more they are in the sled areas...pretty far out of the way to be posting up at Silent. It’s 40km from town...


lots of sledders out, AB, SK, MB, Ont plates all in lot. Lots of big trailers

Came off the ski hill at Revy this afternoon around 3:30. Cops were sitting at the intersection checking vehicles. Truck 2 ahead of me was singled out. Ontario plates. So they are out and about checking. Not sure at who's direction, provincial or municipal. Haven't seen anything around the mous or SA.......yet

That isn’t anything unusual , they like to sit in that area as there is a school zone just up the street. A perfect spot to catch people smoking a gagger , having a beer or speeding through the school zone after a day at the ski hill.

I'm ok with that if that's what they looking for. But It was pretty obvious they were just looking at/for plates. No stopping and talking to anyone like usual checkstops.

and you can confirm that trucks driver didnt have booze on his breath, open beer bottle, a joint in the ashtray? Allot of assumptions on your part.

Its xmas season. BC ALWAYS has a blitz on this time of year, road blocks are the norm.

Zala's closed down over a week ago on thereown. I am surprised it took Interior Health this long to say something about which days to be concerned about etc.
