I guess I need help understanding something about the interior of BC and the people that live there. I have frequently visited the different areas over many years, but admittedly have never resided there and delved into the daily workings of the communities.

By the many articles in the local news outlets, it seems as though there is a portion of the community that support these environmental activists (small numbers, but large voice...???)

What do these people do to earn a living that reside in the interior??
On the central b. C area, golden west to kamloops and say blue river to penticton

I would say revy has the most amount of granola crunchers, being lots of west coast tools moved there, and lots of outa country people also

Question is, is there enough to out weight the tourist market for revy

i think the motorized sports aren't feeling the love. And there's probably a bigger agenda on the horizon that meets the eye!!

Lots of tourism based jobs. A lot of the hippy types are seasonal residents. They come to mountain bike and/or ski for a season or two and live in houses with 5-10 others or in vans. Some decide to stay long-term. The backbone of the economy in the BC central interior is forestry, mining, agriculture, home construction and increasingly tech.

And they don't want any industry in town.

They change their primary residence to Revelstoke and then raise a big stink about industry.

Big question why is town council in bed with the Devil.

I remember during all those caribou consults they stood up and promised that they were not being influenced by y2y.

You know aswell as I do that parking lot **** weather adds up to good snow up top,

We have been there, done that many times.

Obviosly not today as I am posting on this thread.

Was suprised that 500 am was still doable drinking beer.
Oh, is the wife ever sick..LOL

Rained all day in golden and revy and down to halcyon. Slush at Rogers. Looks decent on wedcams but it’s only inches down at the highway. Plus 2-5 through the day. If you can gain some elevation it’s be decent I bet.

Looks like it dumped last night with another snowfall warning in effect that’s what I like to see!
