Hey Everyone, please keep your eyes open for a 2017 Triton 12 ft Sled Trailer (Black). There was a 2018 Summit X, (Blue) 154” and a 2019 Summit SP (Black/Blue) 146”. It was stolen from the Best Western in Revelstoke last night. See pics below. I’ll offer anyone a $1,000 that leads to the recovery of the trailer and sleds.

Hi, I feel your pain. I wish I could be more positive about my theft. So far, have been scammed once by a guy who said he knew where my trailer was. Gave him a payment and he fell off the planet. Another guy said my sled got painted, from the 2010 orange to metallic red. Got a text and sure enough, repainted. Again, someone knows something out there. I spoke to BannerRec in Kelowna and you might get lucky and get them back now that season is winding down. The part that is the worst is, do you really want them back. I guess the answer should always be yes, but I am really conflicted. The best advise is to do what you are doing, get it out on Social Media any way you can. The more the information is out there, hopefully will help kill the desired ness of your sleds and trailer. Then start listing the items in the trailer, trying to get together any and all pictures you have of your stuff to prove what is yours, is actually yours. I am dealing with ICBC on the trailer, Got Toys on the sleds and home insurance for contents. It's a lot of work, but it passes the time while you sit and wait. Pass it on to the Provincial Snowmobile club to fan out if you are a member. Post it on Kijiiji on a variety of locations making sure you cross reference the sleds to the trailer and vice versa. Set up alerts on Kijiiji on the western provinces sites. Watch the ads. Craig's list too. The trailer is the hot potato and they will want to dump it fairly quickly to avoid detection. You'll probably find it first emptied out. Look around and keep searching. Get ahold of your BRP dealer and have them enter the VINS on their dealer network. You'll need something from police to show theft reported. It will stop new DESS keys being made. The dealers in BC are pretty good at keeping things honest, I am told. The clock is ticking and the insurance companies won't start processing the claims in earnest until after 30 days. Be prepared though, to move onto the next phase, which could mean saying goodbye to the stuff you have worked hard for. The guys doing this stuff don't give a rats ass about your stuff and they'll likely be looking to try and turn a quick buck. Think about offering a reward, only on the actual return of the sleds trailer or equipment. Beware of scammers. The lanscape is full of them. Take your time and keep the authorities abreast of any developments. The good guys are just happy to get you your toys back, free of fees. Hope that helps. I'm hopeful mine will work out. Learned a very valuable lesson or two as a result of this not so pleasant experience. If you have a contact number, list it. Currently I can't see how anyone can contact you other than message in this forum. There's lots of sledders wanting to help you find your equipment, let them help. S

I thought Best Wetsern in Revy had a security guard that walked the lot at night? What about cameras I'm sure that I've seen them outside while staying there. Ask the manager to view them perhaps you can at least see who went in and out of the lot after hours. Good luck

Just curious was it locked to your truck? Backed in to the parking spot? I realize if they want it they can get anything.
