Thinking of heading that way on the 29th another couple of weeks it should be plenty by then. It will be our first trip that way in about 10 years. There will be a couple newbies with us can anyone make recommendations where to head first? They are not new to sledding just to mountain riding.

Boulder/Frisby are always where I take the newbies, Easy alpine access, great views, nice cabins. Always find something to have some fun with. Depending on the person it's easy to turn them off of mountain riding if they're stuck all day or if it's tough to get up a hill to access the area

Boulder can be easy to get turned around if the weather rolls in and you don't know it. Look into a guide for your first trip.

In other news I wore through both skags at Sale yesterday lol.
Skegless Racing team too eh lol

My one ski is well, not great lol

Holds the skeg, but

Was the snow up top worth wearing out the skags? Early season riding at sale is always a little sketchy.

As with anywhere

exactly. I’ve taken large groups off frisby numerous times. Even with gps they were screwed in the dense fog. But my drew gps never fails. IMO the mountains don’t have an easy way off if the weather turns

Grooming equipment will be working on both Boulder and Frisby tomorrow Thur. Nov. 15 starting at 9 a.m.
Use extreme caution up and down.
Boulder parking is at 4 km lot on the Kirkup
Frisby parking is 2 km at Streeter St. junction.
Parking may change if snow continues tonight.

At Boulder this afternoon there was 4 ft of snow at cabin. Kirkup trail was put in, Bezanson trail from Kirkup junction to cabin and trail above cabin to Alberta Hill.
Frisby 5 ft. of snow at cabin, Frisby Main was groomed to cabin. Dense heavy fog prevented opr to make it to the alpine.
Big thanks to Herb, Brad and Bill for getting this done for us.

Yamacam has power again and we will have power on a regular basis with the groomer operators running the generators, it`s snowing up there hard. http://revelstokesnowmobileclub.com/yamacam/

Where is parking at boulder and frisby? Do you have to pay trail fees yet?

Ya don’t understand why guys always want to cheap out on the 25 bucks but spend 100 in the bar with out looking back
Interestingly enough, those that seem to think $25 is nothing and shouldn't complain, have no problem buying a $200 membership and riding 40 times a year. Maybe we should get rid of the yearly memberships and simply charge $25/day. No one should complain and the rest can stop subsidizing the locals. lol

If you don't like paying the 25$ for groomed trail; could always go ride somewhere else.
