you should probably play it safe and wait one week after it opens before going out.;)

Hit frisbee on opening morning with a crew a few springs back. Was a great day, we got horny to go Bright and early... the snow was rock solid until around 11, that's when I started riding in a t shirt until 4pm! Have fun, there's lots to explore

Rode Frisby last year on the 16th at 12:01 am lol. Snow was hard spring conditions and some dickheads were riding it the 15th. Might try somewhere a little more remote this year.

I think conditions this year are shaping up better then last year. Curious what everyone else’s thoughts are? Anyone ever been to caribou basin? Definetly more remote...

Weather and snow looking good so far, as long as it stays cool. Not much really “remote” any more, lol. Everyone gets almost everywhere you can sled with these new machines.
as far as Caribou basin, we would get 50-60 sleds in there on opening day. Just depends, who knows from one year to the next. This year being its a monday maybe less, but then if snow is good could be more.
Don’t really get any poaching in there early, if they try, they get to meet the CO’s back at their trucks.

True. I knew a Sledder that rode the 15 th. Busted by chopper.
As far as caribou basin. 50-60 sleds will pound it out out in 4 hrs. If the snow was soft of course

A few of us were looking forward to going out for the 16th to ride the closure areas when they open. But, we were told a lot of people are morons and take a chance and start tearing it up about a week before it opens. I'm sure there'll be a lot of snow left - but not sure if its worth the journey if people start poaching it a week out. Hopefully there's a tonne of snow on the 15th!!!

16th!
