Hi All,

We are planning to spend New Years in Revelstoke this year. Our plan is to head up to Boulder cabin in the evening and spend it there. Before we finalize this plan I wanted to make sure this is a thing. Anything special we need to know or do?

Cheers,
Tyler

book rooms early. Also Be ready for a long ****ty drive. Skitards with roof racks and city tires will keep the hwy slow or fawked up if it’s snowing. I’ve spent plenty of New Years in Revy and every year I always tell myself I won’t go back during the holidays. Also Gas up at night. It’s busy

Don't think you're encouraged to sleep in the cabin unless it becomes survival. If that is what you meant by the statement.

I know given the weather there is quite often people up at the Cabin on New Years to ring in the New Year however as other have said you wouldn't be able to spend the night unless it was an emergency situation. It also goes without saying that if you're enjoying a few select beverages make sure you're not riding. There are tons of RCMP in Revy over the holidays and adopt a zero tolerance policy towards drinking and driving.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the feedback! We already have hotels booked and will not be overnighting. Could have worded my original post a tad better. Plan would be to ride up in the evening, ring in the new year at the cabin, then slowly make our way back down. We won’t be drinking and driving/riding. That goes without saying.

Just was was looking to make sure this was all possible!

Cheers,
Tyler
