I'm not familiar with side by sides but was thinking of trading a couple quads for one of these 570's. It will be used for camp access and some hunting. Are they a reliable machine? I would prefer a ranger with a bigger bed but they have a bench seat and look like they are made for cruising around a golf course looking at the suspension on them.

one of the guys riding in our group has a 570 rzr, nice SxS. good power, goes everywhere, it's not really a working machine but gets by! you should be happy with the 570. best to take a test drive, to make sure?

If your wanting a machine for camp, hunting, access to hunting, yard work whatever don't waste your time with a rzr. I had an 800 ranger, it was stolen. Now I have a rzr. I hate it. Absolutely NO comparison. Rzrs have their place, and it for ripping up and down trails. Not a work horse. Don't let the golf cart look scare you. I've had a rhino, ranger and rzr, this rzr will plow my driveway this winter, but a ranger is coming back. 10 times the machine even in ride quality imho
my buddy has a brand new tyrx, it's crazy low geared and to loud for hunting. Seemed to get stuck way too easily as well
i have been in commanders, don't like the clutching and you sit too low, same as rzr. I have no experience with the new defender. Looks like a great machine

The defender is plain ugly , but built super tough ...with proven engine / driveline .
Just way to many issues with the new gen. Popo's ...
They just don't do quality control any more ...imo

Hmmm, definitely appreciate the input all seasons. Do you sit a lot lower in the rzr compared to the other utility ones? I wish I could find a decent used rhino without a ton of miles but nobody seems to want to part with them. I think I will keep my eyes open for a ranger and hopefully someone that would take a couple sportsmans on trade!

Ya quite a bit lower. There's a spot I like to hunt, need to cross a river. In ranger, lift legs and hit throttle with tippy toe to stay dry. Rzr, I snorkelled and I have to wear my chest waders cause water comes up to balls deep. I'm running 2"lift on 28" mayhems too

Try a few different sxs, and see what you like, i agree with allseasons, nice to just wear rubber boots or work boots riding, but a real shock when u have to get winch out in a deep hole
