I am a Boondocker turbo dragon owner and just had the very common but unfortunate turbo oil pump failure. Solenoid in that pos diaphragm pump decided that it didn't want to work without being tapped on by a 9/16' wrench. Anyway killed my turbo and when I contacted the packager of the kit they pretty much told me I'm retarded because those pumps do not fail period. So I phoned 3'different dealerships trying to find a pump that didn't resemble a kw windshield washer pump. I actually found out that I'm not the only poor sap whose had issues. About the 10th that I know of. So all you guys running that black plastic pos phone alpine Motorsports and they will hook you up with a real brass gear pump thats the real deal. For all you guys that don't seem to care , talk to jeff at bd turbo in abbotsford and he will have your turbo fixed up in a couple days for ya. Buy the way thanks jeff. Thats all I have to say, got to go peel all the Boondocker decals off my sled.

LMAO that pump is a total joke. Another good pump option is the one from Cutler. Maybe Boondocker will offer a better pump next year as an update? $599+shipping for something that should have been there from the get go.lol.

Not sure if you have ridden with that new pump yet, but be careful. I tried one last week and it has too big of power draw and would draw down the fuel pump making the sled go lean. It also would make my fuel controller cut out. I think it can draw up to 9 amps which is likely more than all the other electrical device's combined. Not sure where BD mounts there pump, but it should be right at the source so it pushes the oil and is not trying to pull it.

Had 4 rides on new pump and seems to be working great. I put a amp clamp on the pump and only draws 4 amps with extra bypass to reservoir. I sould be ok. I don't run any headlights and fuel controller seems to be working fine. Sled is running really strong. Just have to pull a little fuel still. Burning way to much fuel. Only running 1100 @ 12.4 safe but mooching fuel on a regular basis.

Green, Do happen to have the headlight delete and a lead dog helmet light? pretty sure the pos non warrantied BD pump is just junk, however it does seem that many of the failures have lead dog. not sure if they pull more amps than the stock headlight or not. BD does not stand behind their products. yes you can pay to exchange the turbo but on a sled that is under a year old they should offer a bit better warranty. requesting photo's and making you take your sled to a shop for a while then telling you to basically get bent anyway seems like a big waste of time. A guy is better off going with a Big Boost kit where you don't have to worry about the 700 to 1200 bill for a "warranty" turbo exchange/new junk oil pump.

Any auto parts store will cary a universal diesel fuel transfer pump (Mr gasket is the brand I used) it cost about 50 bucks and worked great! Ran quite a few thousand miles on it no problem. As diesel is closer to oil then fuel they work great to pump oil.

I have a 2015 Pro RMK 163", with Boondocker WTA on Full AV gas @ 9lbs, 3" camo track, drivers, Anti stab and just installed full Fox Float 3 Evol R, Christ Burandt suspension front and back. One issue I'm having is that upon entering deep snow or heavy throttle it feels as though the track is losing track speed or its almost like the track is contacting the tunnel. I've looked for any signs of rubbing but all looks good. I tightened up the track and it seemed to help situation. Then I looked at upping the front track shock pressure? currently running 50 PSI with rear track 135/175. Just curious if the track should a little tighter than stock for turbo 3" application? I just don't want run it too tight. Any other advice on possible solutions?
