I have a 17 boost it axys, running 5lbs on 50/50 race and can’t keep it from hitting det, it runs smooth, doesn’t bog, just hits det then that’s the end of it. It’s very repetitive and seems to run perfect otherwise. It’s generally only a wot, pulling about 8250rpm

Bad fuel possibly.... Is it a new build? Or do you have a few miles on it already? Could throw some weight at it and see if that helps.

Mine did the exact same thing
had Neil look at it and he found the 2 grounds at the front bumper to be on the bumper side and not grounding proper thru the paint on the bumper he moved them to between the bumper and the bulkhead and it seems of fixed the det problem

its brand new yes, been on the floor for a year or so and hasn’t been ridden till the last few rides. Tried with straight av gas as well as 94 and c12 50/50

i did move my grounds to the other side of the bumper as well as I was having issues with the box cutting out. Which doesn’t seem to be happening anymore that I can see. Runs without a hiccup other than det going off. Should have plenty of ocstane for 5lbs I would think. Think it could be anything to do plug wise?

Since Neil looked at it and moved my grounds I have only put 10 miles on it around home until tomorrow I’m heading back to valemount was told to run 50/50 av and premium at 12 little clicks and the middle size weight ran all the way into to weight (bottomed out ) I have no gauges but TJ and Neil say this should be 3 to 4 psi
it runs great around home now with no det as to before moving the grounds I would nail the throttle let off and then back on and it would hit det every time

Well I’ll Take a look at mine then go from there. Let me know how yours works out. Snows looking to be pretty good this weekend.

If the grounds don't fix it, try adding weight like I said earlier. Sounds like you have tried different fuel. You just may be spiking the rpm, and that's all it takes to hit det as well
