Anyone have insider info on the new "Standard Exhaust" that exits out of the existing hole of the Axys instead of doing the tunnel dump?? IMO this was always a concern as most don't like taking a hole saw to their tunnel and cutting the foot well..

This makes the base kit a lot more appealing

No one hey.. I have tried pinging BD and Chris B. to see if there are any images or updates on sound levels, etc.. I am surprised they are offering it without any details available

UPDATE: BDturbo replied to my question "nobody wants to see these ugly prototypes. Once we get the look finalized we'll produce a couple and get some images out there."
If anyone else was interested in these kits and didn't want to blast a hole in the new tunnel

With the sidekick turbo, there is a bracket that goes over the tunnel dump hole. If anything, its stronger then stock. I like the tunnel dump, the exhaust never gets plugged with snow. Just my 2 cents.

I'm not concerned with the strength of the tunnel after the cut or plate, I just personally don't think it is necessary. I ride with a lot of turbo sleds, silbers mainly, putting down great power in all conditions without any issues in terms of exhaust exiting from the stock location. I have contacted boondocker and patiently await the new design as i think it'll really help their sales and not hurt their performance one bit.

On my boost it pro, I have had changed my exhaust from factory to side and then to tunnel dump. Well imo a sled runs way better with a tunnel dump. No matter how deep the snow and how slow you are driving it will never snuff out.

I think there is a good reason that BD has the patent on the tunnel dump, cause it works. It does suck cutting a hole in the side of the tunnel, but once your riding you forget all about it. lol
