Hi All hope the collective knowledge on here can assist me. 800 Pro just had fix kit in last 375 miles. Sled has been running perfect. At 325 miles starts to idle rich, super smoky. Compression perfect 120 per hole. Idles great and ran excellent all weekend. Only thing I can think of is pipe temp sensor. Checked against specs and seems off. Anyone else have ideas?

Did you do the fix kit yourself or take it to a shop? The oiler screw may have been adjusted or could be backing out on you if it was loosened or adjusted hence letting more oil into the engine. If it was a pipe temp sensor issue you should be seeing an error on your dash as it lights up yellow if it's faulty (or if you forget to put it back in...)

Yeah I did the kit myself. Didn’t touch the oil set screw because the pistons that came out were perfect. Really weird. Just started out of the blue.

I also believe that the pyro probe when having issues limits rpm. I had an issue with one of my 13’s years ago and knew there was an issue without even having to look at the multi function display. I can’t say for certain, but I have to assume I knew/noticed due to rpm not due to a rich condition

Yep that’s my only other guess but it has been fine up until now and I haven’t touched the tps at all.

They sometimes just seemingly go out of range on their own. Doesn’t take much to bump the module during a rebuild or even vibrations causing it to move or anything at all.

Luckily easy to test and set. Have you made yourself a tool?

No I don’t have one. Can you email me some instructions or pictures of yours?
