I was riding down the trail on my assault and jumped off a small 2' drop, the rear track shock wouldn't rebound and stayed fully compressed. Lifted the rear end and kicked the skid to release it. It was rather cold (-35) and i initially blamed that. Worked fine the rest of the day. Next day, start out jumping beaver dams and everything's working fine, but rear end again fails to uncompress after a small 1' bump.

Is this a shock problem or is something binding in the rear skid. I did do a track swap recently and only had about 10 miles before this occurred.

Sounds like some water in the shock,,, shouldn't be binding in the skid,,,, get the shock rebuilt ,,,, or if you do not rebuild the shock and it happens again you might have to piss on it to get it to let go. Lol
