Pulled the cylinders off. Sled has about 3800kms. both rods have side to side play (wobble towards clutch and mag). There is no up and down play. Are the bearing supposed to have this play in them or am I splitting the crank case next?
I siphoned as much coolant as I could but when i lifted the cylinders a bit spilt out the bottom. Because of the angle of the motor I dont think any entered the crankcase but how much coolant can go in there before I should be worried? Is there somewhere I should have siphoned from to have gotten the rest of it out?

Was reading that there is supposed to be connecting rod side clearance of 0.289-0.749mm, is it this side clearance that is wobbling?

I typically drain the coolant out of the motor by pulling the coolant hose off the water pump, this way the cases are empty prior to pulling the cylinder off. I would try to get all of the coolant out, coolant sitting in the bearings will eventually rust and pit them and ruin them. The rod bearings do have side to side play there is a spec for it. It should be .0114" to .0295".

There should be essentially zero up and down play.

If you need more specs PM me and I can hook you up.

This is side to side clearance measured at the bearing on the crank. It should be like a side to side sliding on the bearing. If you are seeing a lot of wobbling as in the rod pushes out of square relative to the crankshaft it likely means the bearing is becoming quite worn.
