Have a 14 stock pro 800 (stock spring plus 62g weights) that completely whoops our pair of 15 pro's with low elevation clutching installed from dealer (gold spring and 70g weights). The 14 is also 15% better on fuel in the powder!!
The 15s feel gutless in comparison. The 14 engages at 4100 and hits 8400 and holds 8300 while the 15s engage at 3600 and pull 7900 / 8000.
Riding drainages and valleys at 1000' to 2000' but wondering if the clutching is too light on the 14 and whether or not it's too hard on the motor.
Any experience / feedback re light clutching at low elevation appreciated.
