well got a call from the dealer. both pistons, one cylinder, and head all need replaced. kicker is that polaris wont warranty it because of my MBRP trail can. Like WTF is with that how can they hide behind such a chicken ch!t reason. We all know that there is no way a can will do that. But will be acting on this further. Whatever happened to customer appreciation. If they wont warranty this it will be the LAST dollar polaris will get from me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is to bad. Although it appears to be a Polaris issue it is more likely the dealer that has caused you this grief. How would Polaris know you have a can if the dealer hadn't told them? Everyone knows a well respected company like MBRP is not the cause of the failure, including the manufacturer. I would take it up with the dealer. Did they sell you the can?

Thats the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time, about the dealer. Bruce's RV & Polaris, sold me my sled and SLP can with warranty still on it. And basically said good to go, your still covered.

. they sent them pics with the can on the sled. why wouldnt they throw the stock back on? will be taking it to slave lake as they are sure they will get it warrantied. SUPER pissed bout this !!!

going to be fighting it!!! as far as it stands i bought the can 3 days before my sled blew up. i cant see how polaris can argue that fact as i have the paperwork to prove it

I think that is hitting below the belt due to the simple fact every dealer sells MBRP cans, I had to laugh when buying our 13 summits. The sales guy laughed when he called saying they were ready to pick up from snow check and I asked about loosing the dead weight out front, he replied we have the MBRP can is you are ok with that we can install it. He didn't even question what I referring too, he knew it was the exhaust and it had to go. Warranty 100%. I own two newer dodge vehicles and inquired about after market parts, they didn't pull any punches told what would void warranty what wouldn't. If Polaris can't handle after market parts they shouldn't sell them at the dealership without a disclaimer. Simple, it is why lemmings like myself go to dealers so I make sure I get the right parts that will work and make my stuff function as best as it can while looking after my best interests and longevity of their own product. Especially MBRP.
I say write MBRP and tell them you will never buy another can from them as it created this issue. You're on snow and mud so the world knows of this problem too. I'd bet someone would be getting a call at Polaris from MBRP asking some questions. Maybe anyways. Or I am looking at the glass half full again, not sure.
