My friend has a 2002 polaris edge 600. We are attempting to get it fixed. One issue is with the steering. When the skis are pointed straight. The bars are turned pretty bad to the left. When I say bad, I mean that it is practically not rideable. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment somewhere that could have gotten messed with somehow. The sled was sitting for probably 2 years, and before, the steering was fine as far as I know. I don't know how it could have gotten this way.

I should add that the sled still has the ability to turn completely both ways, but when you turn full lock to the left, the bars are almost parallel with the seat, and when turning left, it is only half of what it should be.

My guess is that something is bent, or broken, but if there are any adjustments or linkages, it would be nice to know how I can access it, what has to be removed, etc.

Maybe there is a way that the pivot on the bottom of the bar post has somehow got to a point that the pivot point has flipped the rod to the wrong side. Shine a light down in the belly pan and look if something looks really out of place. Doubt it, but worth a look
