It never leaked before. Didnt leak this summer until suddely this last month its leaking on the garage floor. Explain?

take the cover off and clean up and replace rubber gasket they don't last for ever, torque all the bolts even when putting back on. remember the case is made of aluminium so 16 INCH pounds should do the trick
Tell me when my light bulb is going to burn out on my front porch. Does this explain it well enough? Everything fails sooner or later.....

Ha ha! Ok guys settle down...
I just wondered if heat in the shed might cause it or what??. Just sayin it hasnt moved for 5 months and only started leaking 3 weeks ago.

I had a 97 rmk 700 I bought for my wife. Was doing the same thing. Tried 3 times to get it to seal by cleaning things up really good and torquing properly. Ended up changing out the gasket and problem solved. They are cheap.

Im just hoping its not a driveshaft seal. Chaincase is so awkward to remove hunched over, with reverse gears and everything.

I also have the 97 indy touring 500 and the exact same thing happened,all the oil on my new shop floor, tightened the loose bolts and no leaks so far.

Bolts were tight. I replaced the seal. All is good so far.
