A bit of a start. Put the Timbersled together. Had Impact coat the arms with the color i like which is Candy Red Mettallic, and did the rails and small parts in gloss black. Added an SLP anti stab kit and just waiting for the snow eliminators and Fabcraft 8" wheels and i'll do the install. Higgins.

Did a quick mock up with the triple to mark the crankcase bolt holes. I was originally going to use a bored rackslide carb setup and airbox but when i did a previous mockup the carbs interfered with the steering post. And when i moved the motor over to gain the spacing i needed i couldn't get the clutch off. So i had to go with individual carbs and carb plates with a angled carb boot for the centre cylinder. Now everthing lines up and i can remove the clutch properly. My only regret is i have to use pods. Higgins.

I sold my Holz and replaced it with this Timbersled. When i first put the kit together way back, they sent me 163" rails saying it would work with a 162" track. So........well no it doesn't, especially with 8" wheels and 8 tooth 3 pitch drivers. That was the start of the ball dropping, procrastinating get nothing done part of the project!! But i'm back on track and got some 159" rails in and they're the proper ones. Suspension is in and just a few soldering connections on the wiring harness and thats done. Contacted Neil and dropping the chassis off for pipes tomorrow (Monday). Will keep posting as things happen. Higgins.

Thanks!! Got out and cleaned up some loose ends. Cleaned up the last bit of wiring, trimmed the new hood a bit so it fits and put on the hirise to see what it fits like. Higgins.

Those hoods are made by Mountain Fit and i think i paid 250us each and i bought two but that was a few years back. You have to do a little trimming and hole cutting to make them work but they're very light. I have a smoked one i don't need if your interested.

It's a "labour of love" i can tell you that Notorious! The chassis is in at Neils getting pipes, so around 2-3weeks turnaround i hope, then impact for coating which takes a week. So about a month and a bit till ignition, can't wait!!!

Picked up the chassis from NPP today and i'm "VERY HAPPY" with the results!! Excellent work. When i dropped it off we discussed what i was wanting and it was a user friendly setup that made good power at altitude.
Going to finish things up over the next bit and i think i'll go back and do a dyno session to see what is there. Higgins.

Mongrol good to hear from you! Hope the summer was good. Don't worry i have to fix that 900 too. Dropped a skirt at the end of last season. But getting this going is definetly the priority.
