Looking for some help on MTN sled set up. I am new to Mtn sledding (previously trail Sledder), want to set this older sled to a more upright position (standing attack position). Picked up 6” riser, will give this a go, also thinking of changing the seat to sit higher. The sled has plenty power for me. I recently went to Clemina Creek. Never cracked it past 1/2 throttle. Lot of bottom end grunt in this 800 two stroke. No need for motor work. I am searching for a better ride(attack position), more weight on front end for better trail performance. The front end wonders around a lot while on trail heading to snowmobile area. Maybe it’s the 2” track, or the ski stance. However very different from my 700 xcsp.
Thank you

Not much more you can do to get weight forward than you are doing, put on your riser and tip it forward to where your comfy standing. if I recall may need to add a throttle cable extension with the 6" riser? Just check that when you turn bars to the right it does not open the throttle.
As for taller seat, there was a company that made them (I believe they were called Boss seats?) but I haven't seen them around for a while. The only time I used the seat was for having lunch, so wasn't a big issue for me.
I had four 03 RMK's, (still have one in the shed) loved the sled, maybe check skags, ski alignment and linkage play, as they did track pretty straight....

Hope this helps.
