looking to swap a 174 to a 163. Just curious if its possible and how big a head ache it may become, any advice/tips and what nots would be great.

I can't imagine it will make financial sense. I think you'd be way farther ahead if you just sell it and buy the sled you want.

Can be done for sure you would need rails, track, cut tunnel, and just a couple small rear suspension parts from polaris. The factory 174 skid is not the same as the 163 so a simple rail change will not work you will need a couple rear arm parts.
It will be costly and might be just as easy to sell the sled. Depending on what track you might also need drivers and a anti stab. Also the deciding factor is the suspension mount hole center to center is also different so you would be relocating the rear mount and that is a gay job for sure.

Might have good luck posting on here if someone would trade your parts for a 163 and parts you will prob have some takers just a thot good luck

Cr racing has the best kit out for cutting the tunnel, needs to be wedded, but won't leak like other kits on the market.
