Sometimes I jump on it and pretend I’m riding lol The Dr says I can go riding again hopefully before the end of the month. I’m on week 6 of a very serious neck injury. The Dr said it would be 6-8 weeks for full recovery. I’ll be sure to get some footage for you, your more then welcome to come down for a rip when I get my bearings back.

I really liked the way the Alphalarious felt, its a little to get used to but not as bad as one might think. Super easy to carve on the down hill with a lot less effort. Yes it climbs like **** but its the first time out and that will be rectified for next trip.
All in all I think it worked pretty good. AT this piont Ninner's cat Is still king !!!

Would love to have you and Kanedog really show me what ridding is all about. Im so used to bunny hills and poaching tracks that I'm not sure if ill be able to keep up.

I believe this was a R&D weekend for this group as they do this several times a season to figure out what works and what doesn’t. So I am guessing that is the reason for the same lines, same hill multiple times.

There has been a few people requesting more details. As a whole, i think this was a huge success. This was the first day out on the snow with a concept that we weren't sure would work. The sled "worked" perfect.No rubbing, no broken parts. There was no real issues other than the skid wasn't sitting correctly in the polaris chassis. The front of the track was actually lower than the rear of the skid, causing it to transfer real bad and wheelie all over the place. Niner and I will be making new drop brackets that will lower the rear skid an 1 1/4". The one off drivers also worked for the first go. Even tho Chrisco and I had to die grind more material off for them to fit properly.
The handling of the sled was awesome, super playful, but predictable. Cant wait for the Mountain Maina weekend to test some more.

Cool experiment. Love the alpha track and rail but would probably prefer a Poo sled as it's tough to get over some of the shortcomings of the Cat quality. Plus 840 is better. As mentioned the alphapro picks up fast. The stock alpha does too. It's uncanny how much ground speed you pick up in a climb just crossing a single buried track. Feels almost like boost.

Good to see guys pushing the boundaries of what "could be"! Well done. I'm sure it will only better as your mods get dialed in. Appreciate you sharing your progress with the rest of us who don't have the mechanical skills or commitment to see projects like this through.

If you see the big trees to the Right, I had a big fight with them a couple years ago! LOL
Fell off sled and and sled figured it would go to its own resting spot.
Just to bad it had to bend pipe and front end to be happy in its new parking spot. Bwhaaa!

Here’s the sled with the new mounting locations. Moved the front up and back, then took the rear down and back. Sled sits way better. It’s should wheelie less and climb very well now.

The attack angle on the pro and Alha are exactly the same, with these changes the sleds should be really close but I never rule out the Alpha, can't wait till this weekend!

Was the Alphalaris out on the weekend? Did you folks line it up alongside Niner's alpha, as well as a run against the 2020.5 turbo doo?

Yes we were out testing. I raced Niner and the Alphalaris pulled away right off the start and continued to pull away until i blew a belt. I had adjusted the secondary alignment and made it worse which created too much belt heat. I got it fixed now. I also raced the skidoo turbo and it was a complete tie. ski to ski the whole way. The Alphalaris is working very well. I have a few more things to do to it, so it will only get faster.
